We are 𐓏𐒰𐓓𐒰́𐓓𐒷 (Wa-zha-zhe), carrying forward a legacy of both tradition and innovation in the heart of Osage Nation. At The Great Osage Fudge Company, we believe that sweets are not just desserts but experiences that tell our unique story. Our journey began in 2023 when Kay Bills, also known as Hu Tah To Me (Good Eagle Woman), started experimenting with different flavors and ingredients to create unique and delectable sweets. After perfecting her craft, she opened The Great Osage Fudge Company in 2025 in historic Fairfax, Oklahoma.

As the seventh generation, we reside on the original lands that were settled when the Osage were moved to Oklahoma. Our family's story is deeply rooted in leadership and tradition - we are the direct descendants of Ne-kah-wah-she-tun-kah, who served as the principal chief of the Osage Nation twice from 1908 until his death on August 3, 1923. His wisdom and commitment to sustainability continue to inspire our business practices today.

Each handmade batch combines traditional techniques with innovative flavors, creating a unique fusion of past and present.
